This page is divided into
two sections: "Catalogue" and "Mediatheque".
The "Catalogue" section gives the list of works composed by Sergio
Calligaris throughout all his composing carreer, still in full swing, and originally
published by Carisch. Thanks to its transfer to Ricordi / Universal Music Publishing,
occurred in February 2014, the Maestro's entire catalogue has been reprinted: this page
reports all the new Catalogue numbers assigned to each work already reprinted, whereas all
those being reprinted have [Reprinting].
For each composition there's the title, the number of opus, the foreseen performing
ensemble and the year of composition, with a note concerning the possibility to purchase
or hire the score which edition code is written in square brackets.
There are works that are provided with some excerpts in MP3 format to listen to
(identified by the icon "M"). They are excerpts from CD in the market whose
performers have been artistically connected with the Maestro, with whom they have
collaborated for performing his works and whose performances gained the Maestro's
approval.
Information related to those performers can be got placing the mouse cursor over the icon
"I", allowing the appearance of a pop-up reporting such information.
The "Mediatheque" section, introduced since March 2011, has a
fundamental ambition: the aim to collect and share the complete versions of the Maestro's
works coming from LPs and CD hard to find out as they are out of print, as well as live
recordings, very often of first world performances given by the dedicatee artists and
provided by the Maestro himself. For each recording any information related to its source
is given, both media or live concert.
In that same section there are moreover the links to short films of further performances
published in YouTube by artists in the world who love, study and perform the Maestro's
music with valuable outcome. An incentive and an invitation to any artist who wishes
his/her video with the Maestro's music to be proposed in his official website.
This section therefore collects a cultural heritage of great value, available for anybody
is interested to know Sergio Calligaris' music.
This page is closed by the list of the volumes of scores related to an important
publishing initiative: "Piano Parnassum", the anthology of Sergio
Calligaris' piano music.
